Youth AIDS
- Nearly half of all new HIV infections occur in young people aged 15 – 24.
- Every fifteen seconds, another young person is infected with HIV.
- Every $10 donated will help to protect one young person from HIV/AIDS for a whole year.
What will you do for your generation to end AIDS?
YouthAIDS, an education and prevention program of PSI, uses media, pop culture, music, theatre and sports to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS and reach 600 million young people in more than 60 countries with life-saving messages, products, services and care.

Your tax-deductible donation works by providing youth with life-saving education, products, service and care. The funding targets healthy behavior messages, including abstinence, mutual fidelity, HIV testing, and correct and consistent condom use, as well as access to counseling and testing.
YouthAIDS has partnered with companies such as : ALDO, Anthropologie, Cartier, Johnson & Johnson, H&M, Levi, MAC, National Geographic, and VH1. Without partners such as these, they would not be able to protect and educate more than 600 million people around the world about and from HIV infection. And with these partners, supporters can shop for a cause while donating proceeds from the sales.
A message from their Founder:
YouthAIDS grew out of a passion to make the world a better place. YouthAIDS started in 2001 with a small group of partners that were will to take a chance and make a difference. Their commitment gave YouthAIDS the platform to save lives.
It is because of our partners – corporations, celebrities, the media and individuals – that YouthAIDS is now able to reach more than 600 million young people every year with lifesaving messages. Our work in more than 60 countries all over the globe exemplifies just how far we can – and need – to reach in communicating messages of HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention.
As we look forward, we hope we can continue to count on your partnership and friendship. With more than 33 million people infected with HIV worldwide, it is critical that we all do what we can. With your help, YouthAIDS will continue to work with its parent organization PSI (Population Services International) to provide culturally relevant, innovative and sustainable programs, as well as necessary products and services to youth worldwide.
